The Problem

Pain doesn't just hurt. It takes things from you.

'I've rested it for weeks and it's no better.'
'I just want to run again without paying for it for days afterwards.'
'I'm starting to think this is just how it is now.'

Maybe it's the 10k you've stopped entering. The fitness class you keep skipping because you know what your back will say about it. Or something as ordinary as the stairs, the school run, a night's sleep without your neck waking you.

Waiting rarely fixes it. Rest on its own rarely fixes it. And nobody should have to quietly give up the things they love because they couldn't get proper, hands-on help from someone who actually listens.

Meet Your Physio

Pro-level care, from a physio who trains herself

I'm Danni, a Chartered Physiotherapist with an MSc in Physiotherapy and a BSc in Sport Science. I work as a physiotherapist for Exeter City Football Club and in the NHS, alongside my private clinic at CrossFit Isca in Exeter.

And I train too. I do CrossFit myself, so I know from the inside what an injury really costs you: the routine, the progress, the part of your week that keeps you sane. That's why my goal is never just "out of pain". It's back to the thing you love doing, with a body you trust again.

Whether you're dealing with an injury, a niggle, or you just want to move better, I'm here to help.

Question for Danni What first made you want to become a physio? Was there a moment, or an injury of your own, that started it? One or two sentences of your story will finish this section.
Question for Danni Are you happy for the site to mention your NHS role, and how should we word it?

A Note From Me

If you've been putting treatment off

I understand. Most people wait months before they book, hoping it will sort itself out, and most tell me afterwards they wish they'd come in sooner.

You don't need a referral, and you don't need to know what's wrong. That's my job. Book a 45-minute assessment, and you'll leave with an answer, a plan, and your first treatment done.

Whatever it is you're missing right now, let's get you back to it.

FAQ

Questions people ask

Do I need a GP referral to see a physiotherapist?

No. You can book directly with a private physiotherapist, and most people do. If anything in your assessment needs a GP or specialist, I'll tell you straight away.

How much does physiotherapy cost in Exeter?

At this clinic, £75 for a 45-minute initial assessment including your first treatment, and £55 for follow-ups. Sports massage is £50 for 45 minutes or £65 for an hour. No hidden extras.

What should I wear to a physio appointment?

Comfortable clothes you can move in. Shorts are ideal for hip, knee or ankle problems; a vest top for shoulders and necks.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the problem, and I'll give you an honest estimate at your assessment. My aim is always the fewest sessions that get you a lasting result, not an open-ended course.
